A Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) allows you to plan ahead for your children’s post-secondary education3 by saving at your own pace and taking advantage of generous government grants.4 Kaleido offers an RESP tailored to the reality of every family with its IDEO+ line of plans for different investor profiles.
All our scholarship plans are invested in accordance with our Sustainable Investment Policy and take into account environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. To learn more, consult our general conditions.

No, there are no subscription fees to open an RESP from our IDEO+ line.

The REFLEX, INDIVIDUAL and UNIVERSITAS plans have been discontinued since May 1, 2022. However, we are confident that our range of individual IDEO+ RESPs1 offer the flexibility you need!

Nothing changes in this case. These plans remain in effect for subscribers who are already contributing to them, but they are no longer available to new customers.
Customers who wish to make additional one-time contributions or open a new account can do so by subscribing to an IDEO+ individual RESP.
Make an appointment with one of our scholarship plan representatives. They have extensive experience with education savings and will be able to advise you based on your goals and financial situation.
If your child decides not to pursue post-secondary education, there are a few options available to you under certain conditions:
- Transfer the RESP to another child6
- Recover your contributions and transfer the accumulated income to an RRSP
- Cash in your accumulated income (through an accumulated income payment)6
